All casings used in Shahir products are either collagen based (derived from Beef) or sheep casing, which have been halal certified. Who are Shahir products made for? Our products are prepared for Wescadia Foods in Richmond, BC, Canada, one of many companies under Premium Brands Holding Corporation. Where are Shahir products made? Our products are made across several facilities in Canada, owned and operated by Premium Brands Holding Corporation. What food safety standards do you follow? Our facilities have implemented HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and are SQF Level 2 certified. What is the expiry of your products? Most of our products, in their unopened form and under refrigeration, can be consumed within 90 days. Once opened, most products must be refrigerated and consumed within 4 to 5 days. Where are your products available? Our products are available in Ontario (Greater Toronto Area) and in British Columbia (Greater Vancouver area).
